Krystal Wu
President
Krystal is a junior at Centennial High School, Maryland. She has played piano since the age of 4 and clarinet since the age of 11, and she is currently a part of the MCYO Philharmonic and Centennial Wind Ensemble. Other than music, she holds a special love for earl grey tea, playlists with obscure music artists, books, and stationery.

​Zoey is a senior at River Hill High School, Maryland and she has been playing viola for 9 years. She’s currently a part of Peabody Prep/Performance Academy, Peabody Youth Orchestra, and the RHHS GT Orchestra. In her free time, she likes to read and walk her dogs!

Will Morgan
Secretary
Ana is a senior at Hammond High School, Maryland. She has played in piano recitals and competitions since the age of 7. Ana loves watching Netflix and designing clothes. She plans to major in computer science and cybersecurity in college.

Zoe Tavares
President
Zoe Tavares is a senior at Clarksburg High School in Maryland. She began volunteering with UNMUTE in the summer of 2020, and she's been playing the piano for 10 years. In her spare time, Zoe enjoys journaling, running, and spending time with family.

Erica Qin
VP of Communications and Marketing
Erica Qin is a senior at Marriotts Ridge High School in Maryland. She has been volunteering with UNMUTE since 2019 and plays viola. She has performed at Carnegie Hall and at the Midwest Conference in Chicago. In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing volleyball, and walking her dog.

Eileen Kim
Marketing Manager
Eileen Kim is a sophomore at Urbana High School, Maryland. She has played piano since she was 5 years old and violin since she was 8. Besides violin, she loves fashion, listening to music, and eating spicy food.

Anna Zhou
Treasurer
Anna Zhou is a freshman at Poolesville High School in Maryland. She enjoys playing cello and piano. She has won many awards and performed at Carnegie Hall and the National Gallery of Art. In her free time, Anna loves drawing, writing short stories, and gardening with her family. She is thrilled to share joy through music with UNMUTE!

Taormina Di Pasquale
Virtual Concert Outreach Coordinator
Taormina Di Pasquale is a rising 8th grade at Thomas W. Pyle Middle School. She knows how to and enjoys playing piano, violin, and clarinet. Taormina has participated in PVYO, MCYO, and Montgomery County Honors Band. Outside of music, she figure skates, rides horses, reads, and loves making crafts.

Ivan Zhang

Ivan Zhang is a junior at Richard Montgomery High School. He has played the trumpet for 7 years now and participates in PVYO. Besides his musical activities, Ivan also enjoys software development and drawing. He has been with UNMUTE for a few years now and is blown away by the musicianship of all the students.

Adithya Ramesh is an 8th grader at Hallie Wells Middle School. He has been playing the piano for 5 years now. Besides playing piano, Adithya enjoys reading, playing tennis, and drawing in his free time. Adithya is happy and excited to have this opportunity at UNMUTE.

Jennifer Lee
Moco Concert Coordinator
Jennifer Lee is a freshman at Poolesville Highschool, Maryland. She has played the violin for 6 years and the piano for 7. Besides playing instruments, she loves figure skating, reading romance stories, and sewing. She's excited to create a music-loving community with UNMUTE.

Vivian Raj
Hoco Concert Coordinator
Vivian is a sophomore at River Hill High School. She’s been playing the violin since kindergarten. Besides playing violin, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and practicing Indian classical dance. As a member of UNMUTE’s student board, she hopes that she can help spread the joys of music to more senior living centers in Howard County.

Kathleen Werth
Vice President
Kathleen is a 9th grader at Walt Whitman High School who has played guitar and sung for an audience since age 5. She sees music as one of the biggest parts of her life and enjoys spreading joy with UNMUTE.
When she is not practicing music she likes playing squash, running, and art.

Nikhita Bhatt
Secretary
Nikhita is a junior at Montgomery Blair High School. She has been playing piano for 11 years and most recently has placed first in the YMIC International Competition in the junior chamber music category. She also has been playing clarinet for 6 years, performing in the Maryland All-State band, the Montgomery County All-County band, and the Potomac Valley Youth Orchestra wind ensemble. When she isn't playing music she loves reading, baking, and running.

Eli Kim
Fundraising Manager
Eli is an 8th grader at Urbana Middle School. He began volunteering for UNMUTE in the summer of 2021 and continues to do so. He has played piano since he was 3 years old and the clarinet since he was 9 years old. After playing the clarinet for 2 years he switched to the oboe. In his free time, he likes to listen to rap music, play video games, and play sports.

Madison Wan
Webmaster
Madison is a rising sophomore at Thomas Sprigg Wootton High School. She has won various music competitions such as the Charleston and Golden Classical International Music competitions. She has also performed at the Midwest Conference in Chicago and will be performing at Carnegie Hall this December. Madison has also been doing ballet since age 4 and is currently with the Metropolitan Ballet Theatre & Academy. Her goal is to share the importance of music through UNMUTE!

Kenneth Liu
Virtual Concert Coordinator
Kenneth Liu is a 9th grader at Montgomery Blair High School. Some extracurricular activities he is involved in include piano and table tennis. He's been playing piano since he was 5 and has performed at Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center among other achievements. He's also been playing table tennis since I was 7 and have competed in a few competitions like the NA Teams 3 times. Lastly, his goal with joining UNMUTE is to help coordinate the virtual concerts and hopefully share good music with senior citizens.

Snehi Vijawargiya

Snehi Vijaywargiya is a senior at Watchung Hills Regional High School in New Jersey. She began volunteering for UNMUTE in the winter of 2021 and has played the flute for 8 years. She leads her school's Marching Band, enjoys running her Neuroscience YouTube channel, and reads mystery books in her free time. She is excited to share the joy of music with UNMUTE!

Innu Lee
Moco Concert Coordinator
Innu Lee is a sophomore at Richard Montgomery High School. She is Korean-American and has played cello for 8 years, and currently participating in MCYO as well. Some of her favorite pastimes are reading, working out, and playing piano.

Roselyn Bi

Roselyn is a freshman at River Hill High School in Maryland. She has been volunteering with UNMUTE since last year and is excited to continue spreading joy to others through music. In her free time, she likes playing soccer and spending time with family and friends.

Lily is a senior at Winston Churchill High School in Maryland. She started violin when she was 6 years old, and switched to viola during 6th grade. Outside of viola, Lily is a guilty romance-reader, nature enthusiast, and budding gym-rat.

Charan is a junior at River Hill High School in Clarksville Maryland. A member of his school orchestra, he has been playing the cello for 7 years. Aside from playing music, he enjoys running, playing basketball, and cooking in his free time.
