UNMUTE is not only dedicated towards music volunteerism but also community service. Every December, UNMUTE hosts a holiday event where students can engage in card-making to bring some holiday cheer to local senior citizens. Cards are dropped off at one of UNMUTE's dedicated mailboxes or at select library locations. Students who participate are rewarded SSL hours for every intricate card made. UNMUTE Board members receive, organize, sort, and deliver all the holiday cards to various senior living homes across Howard and Montgomery Counties.
