Krystal Wu
President
Krystal is a junior at Centennial High School, Maryland. She has played piano since the age of 4 and clarinet since the age of 11, and she is currently a part of the MCYO Philharmonic and Centennial Wind Ensemble. Other than music, she holds a special love for earl grey tea, playlists with obscure music artists, books, and stationery.

Zoey is a senior at River Hill High School, Maryland and she has been playing viola for 9 years. She’s currently a part of Peabody Prep/Performance Academy, Peabody Youth Orchestra, and the RHHS GT Orchestra. In her free time, she likes to read and walk her dogs!

Will Morgan

Ana is a senior at Hammond High School, Maryland. She has played in piano recitals and competitions since the age of 7. Ana loves watching Netflix and designing clothes. She plans to major in computer science and cybersecurity in college.

Kathleen Werth
President
Kathleen is a junior student at Walt Whitman High School who has played guitar and sung for an audience since age 5. She sees music as one of the biggest parts of her life and enjoys spreading joy with UNMUTE. When she is not practicing music she likes playing squash, running, and art.

Haolin Christopher Li
Vice President
Chris is a senior at River Hill High School who loves music. He began learning piano at 5 years old and picked up the flute and piccolo when he was 9. Currently, he focuses on flute, and he is a proud member of the school's Marching Band and Wind Ensemble. Chris has been part of various ensembles such as the University of Maryland Honor Band, the Baltimore Symphony Youth Orchestra, the Maryland All-State Band for three years so far, and the Boston University Tanglewood Institute Young Arts programs for two summers. He has also won various music competitions on the flute.

Jennifer Lee
Vice President
Jennifer is a senior at Poolesville High School in Maryland. She has played the violin and piano for over nine years and now participates in PVYO. Besides playing instruments, she loves figure skating, coding, and sewing. She's excited to create a music-loving community with UNMUTE!

Katie Wang
Vice President
Katie Wang is a freshman at Walt Whitman High School. She plays both piano and clarinet and has received numerous awards in piano competitions. She has performed clarinet in ensembles such as the MCPS Honors Junior Band and the Maryland All-State Junior Band and has served as first chair clarinetist for three years with the Potomac Valley Youth Orchestra. She is excited to bring her passion for music and collaborate with UNMUTE’s student board.

Vice President
Matthew Wong is a junior at Poolesville High School. He began studying piano at the age of five and has since earned the Associate of the Royal Schools of Music (ARSM) Diploma, received awards in several national and international competitions, and been invited to perform at Carnegie Hall. In addition to piano, he plays the viola and has performed with the MCYO and the Maryland All-State Orchestra. Since 2019, Matthew has shared his music with senior communities and hopes to foster a lasting love and appreciation for music through UNMUTE concerts.

Anisha Raj
Vice President in Training (HoCo)
Anisha is freshman at River Hill High School who has been playing violin since kindergarten. She has played in multiple orchestras, including the Howard County GT Orchestras and Maryland Classical Youth Orchestra. She's been volunteering with UNMUTE since 4th grade. You can always find her listening to music whenever possible. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, playing lacrosse, and spending time in nature. She is very excited to continue spreading her love for music through UNMUTE!

Vivan Ngan
Secretary
Vivian is a Senior at Clarksburg High School in Maryland. She has played the violin and piano for over nine years, and plans to continue in the future. Aside from music, she loves playing volleyball, reading, baking, and going out with friends. She is so excited to share the love for music in the community with UNMUTE!

Arin Yeo
Webmaster
Arin is a sophomore at Poolesville High School. She has played piano for over nine years and alto saxophone for three years. She has also performed as a member of the MCPS Honors Band and the Maryland All-State Band. In her free time, Arin enjoys reading and crocheting. She looks forward to sharing her love of music and inspiring musical devotion in her community with UNMUTE!

Eil Kim
Vice President of Marketing
Eli is a junior at Urbana High School and has been a volunteer with UNMUTE since the summer of 2021. He currently serves as Vice President, helping organize events and support UNMUTE's mission of making music more accessible in the community. Eli began playing the piano at age 3 and the clarinet at age 9 before discovering his passion for the oboe two years later. He is the principal oboist of his school's Symphonic Orchestra and has received recognition in several international music competitions, including a Gold Prize at the North American Virtuoso International Music Competition, an invitation to perform at Carnegie Hall through the New York Golden Classical Music Awards, and an invitation to perform at Merkin Hall through the International Grand Music Competition. Outside of music, Eli is a nationally ranked junior tennis player and enjoys volunteering, listening to music, playing video games, and spending time with friends.

Anna Zhou is a junior student at Poolesville High School in Maryland. She enjoys playing cello and piano. She has won many awards and performed at Carnegie Hall and the National Gallery of Art. In her free time, Anna loves drawing, writing short stories, and gardening with her family. She is thrilled to share joy through music with UNMUTE!

Kenneth Liu is a rising 12th grader in the SMCS Magnet Program at Montgomery Blair High School in Maryland. He began studying piano at the age of five and has received recognition in numerous piano competitions. Through years of dedicated practice and performance, Kenneth has developed a deep appreciation for music and artistic excellence. He has performed at Carnegie Hall and at the Embassies of Bulgaria, France, and Hungary in Washington, D.C. In addition to piano, Kenneth enjoys playing basketball. Kenneth is happy to be part of UNMUTE and looks forward to sharing music with the community.

Hello, my name is Pahal Majmudar, and I am a junior at Glenelg High School with a deep passion for music. I have been playing the violin for the past seven years, with a particular appreciation for classical music, both as a performer and a listener. Music has been a meaningful part of my life, and I enjoy sharing its joy and impact with people of all ages. I believe music has the power to bring people together, foster a sense of community, and create lasting connections. In addition to playing the violin, I enjoy singing, exploring a wide variety of musical genres, and spending time outdoors in nature. I am excited for opportunities to continue growing as a musician while using music to positively impact those around me.

Zhengjia Qiu is a sophomore at Towson High School in Maryland and serves as the 2026–2027 Baltimore Concert Coordinator for UNMUTE. She has studied piano for 14
years and has also received classical vocal training. Through music and community performances, she hopes to bring joy and comfort to others.

Daniel is a freshman student at Walt Whitman High School. He has played piano since the age of 4, and has previously played both the ukulele and trombone. Besides music, he also enjoys swimming, skiing, and sailing. He looks forward to helping others enjoy music through UNMUTE.
